'Bout friggin time!

My legs were too constricted in those Browne wears with their circulation stopping cuts.

Oh... they don't have to be denim, that's just what these guys prefer.

Villain for Indy V (he just looks like some kind of mob boss)

Oxford bags

Supposedly the Oxford students wore those baggy trousers because they were wearing plus fours underneath them, so as to be ready at a moments notice for outdoor activities. Maybe there guys have more layers underneath. [huh]

That 1970's suit reminds me of something I saw Harpo wear in a Marx Brothers movie. It didn't have six pockets, but it was just about as baggy and he did pull a hot cup of coffee out of one of the giant pockets.*

*previously posted link to six pocket suit seems to be removed. Either that or the doctors were right about more than 7 cups of coffee causing hallucinations.

Matt , last year I'd seen a few wide-legged denims & corduroys from Varvatos, BUT they werent high-waisted at all. Still they had quite a collegiate look.

I wore these RL trousers to Governor's Island.

Suspendered trousers, no belt loops. They had a summery collegiate look, but were a bit lowrise.
I bought them two sizes too large, to be tailored with two inch cuffs & achieve a more appropriate rise. Otherwise they wouldve felt more like `70s disco pants.
BrooksBros cotton tennis vest & Allen Edmonds.

shoplifting pants!

I remember that a while ago when I was at the mall a group of young'ns were caught shoplifting by mall cops and they were all wearing really baggy pants that had large compartments the length of the leg sewn into them...

the thing is that you can't walk right with a bat shoved down the front of your pants...

dumbass lol

I believe that walking with bats shoved into your trousers was one of those old college stunts. All of those freshman foaming at the mouth put an end to that sort of fun.
