I stumbled upon these on ebay a week ago, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them (the model, not necessarily this particular one)?
Looks kinda nice, and warm for fall, if not winter...

The B-10 flight jacket replaced the A2 in the 1943-4 fiscal year. Several forms make quality repros. IMO Eastman make the most accurate repros and theirs is of a 1944 Roughwear contract.

Thank you sir. I thought it looked like a decent cool weather jacket, but never knew about what it was...

I have one by Aero and it's honestly the warmest jacket I own. Light weight and if you get it with Alpaca, a super warm jacket for winter or fall

I love the Buzz Rickson B-10 with red collar and berry knits awesome but made in size up to 44. I take a 44-46. Don't want to chance the snug fit as I heard they run small. I agree with Aswatland with the ELC being a good choice also.

I'm actually considering a B-10 purchase in the near future. Narrowed it down to Buzz Rickson's and Eastman. Any input as to the fits of either brand--I'm all ears. I'm not a fan of Eastman's A-2's because of the cut.

Just pulled the trigger on a Buzz Rickson's B-10 from History Preservation Assoc. I got a size 40. I wear a 38 in original size A-2's and a 38 in Buzz Rickson's A-2's. Sized up to account for the thicker alpaca lining of the B-10. According to various Japanese websites which list the measurement details for these jackets, the sizing differences between my BR Aero 21996 A-2 and the B-10 are actually identical except for an extra 1.5 inches in the pit-to-pit length on the B-10. Hope the fit turns out all right with the 40. I wanted to be able to layer thin sweaters and flannel shirts beneath it without sacrificing the trim, tidy look inherent to the B-10. Will post pics when it comes in.
