Aspirations

When I was young
I always aspired
to become a
Henchman.

When I discovered
that no courses were
available at college.
I gave up the idea.

So I climbed the
ladder of success,
and managed to reach
the level of
middle mediocrity.

And there I stayed
'till this very day.

After many sleepless
hours,
I am sorry to realize,
that I have left
no mark on humanity.

Equally,
I am happy
to have left no
stain.

I too aspired to becoming a Henchman.....but alas in old age I stand before the mirror bent of back and rounded shoulders and I realize that I have become a Hunchman.
