Thank you

Thanks for the kind words Gents & Ladies..(hiya KD..how are ya?). Also, thanks for posting this Animator..
Big Guy, this is "Natural" color..really pretty versatile and a good summer color.
Brad & Stoney, thank you for your comments about the welt. NB, the reason you haven't seen one of my hats welted is because this is the first one I've tackled. I cant tell you how many bullets were sweated over this hat. or how many tries..BUT..it's about the learning curve and this hat taught me quite a bit. Contrary to the comments guys, this is far from perfect but I'm working on it. :D

Hey Art - you said the color is "natural" ... has it been dyed or is this the real color of the fur? There seems to be a lot of depth and texture to the color. Natural has become my favorite color. I'm really enjoying this hat.

On the underside of the brim, there is a single line of stitching. It looks really nice, and I think an "underwelt" would make a fantastic brim finish also because that would end up on top. Maybe it is just because Art did such a nice job on the welt, but I really like the way it looks as an overwelt and think it adds a ton of personality to the hat. My next hat will definately be another overwelt.

Here are a couple of pictures of the hat in use

I think the brim as around 2 1/2 inches... Maybe Art can specify

The chair is an Allsteel #19. I prefer it to the Aeron and mentioned it earlier so I thought I'd show it wearing the hat.

the hat looks better with every picture I see....If i had the money right now I would call Art tomorrow! alas, it will be a few months before I have the scratch to afford one of his masterpeices. Also I have to convince my fiance it's more important than paying for something having to do with the wedding.

great pics!

Oh man, am I tempted...what a fantastic hat. Looks great on you, but it also looks like it *should* be my hat. I thought I could put off the custom-made stuff for a while. Why are you doing this to me?! Now I might have to enquire about cost etc. to Mr. Art.

So there are three of us in Atlanta, at least - Animator and Gabe and me. With similar taste. Have to make sure we never appear at once wearing the same hat or we will arouse suspicions about a conspiracy.

Woodfluter -Good point... we Atlanta folks should at least order hats in different colors. Hopefully more people in Atlanta will take up hat wearing.

For a hat of great quality made to your specs and fit to your head, I think Art offers a fine deal. I really enjoy my two VS hats.

I hope you don't have to buy a VS hat for the dog, too. That would get expensive!
