We do get live jazz performances and such on Bravo (Canada) or PBS, but I long for a show like this one. You can see what's going on, invaluable for musicians. I agree with the comment made on this page about the pointless editing and so on.

There are episodes of Jazz Party available on DVD, but I'd like to see a complete set.

Is that Rex Stewart in the first song? I don't recognize the white trumpet player at all.

EDIT - Yep, Rex Stewart. The white guy is Nick Travis. Never heard of him but Rex is awesome in my book.
