6" x 2-1/4"

rlk,
That has to be a hat that truly defines the term Elegant! I could not wear that color as I would have it filthy for sure, but it is really georgeous and the ribbon work is truly exquisate! I especially like the little detail of the bottom ends of the contrasting ribbon being tacked down at the base of the crown ! Truly a work of "Art" :)

That hat, RLK, is gorgeous. I love the look of a high, grey tower like that, which is especially nicely complemented by the contrast of the relatively modest brim. The ribbon is quite nice too.

Thanks to everyone for the warm response to the Powder Blue.

Here's the source for the concept:

Art nailed that ribbon spot on. You cant spell ARTIST without ART! I suspect that he will be getting a few more requests for a ribbon treatment like that. Like everyone else said, just INCREDIBLE!!!!!:jaw::eusa_clap:eusa_clap

That model got around.
Incidentally, this seems to be the real peak for hat crowns, not the 30's when most were no different than 40's or 50's.

A new dove-grey thin-ribbon from Art arrived today:

It has a 2 5/8" brim; I was a bit hesitant to go so wide, but Art assured me that I'd look O.K. in it, and I think he's right. I'll post pictures of me wearing it as soon as I can.
Thanks Art!
