Bellavista. Klampenborg (just N of Copenhagen), Denmark. Arne Jacobsen, architect. 1932-'34.

Across the street from Bellevue, the public beach on the Øresund Strait - which Jacobsen also planned - Bellavista allows a view of the water from every unit. The complex is at left center in this aerial view from the 1930s.
I've been there and taken pictures. But these were taken about 2 weeks after I visited, and are better.
Fletch, thanks ever so, for that presentation , was totally unaware of the building, it looks so "now" only the Car (Automobile) gave it away
We need heaps of postings here, there are so many lovely old Apartment blocks around the world that need to be celebrated!, and cherished for future inhabitants:eusa_clap
Sadly many are under threat from greedy developers, experiencing bad hair days, yes Donald Trump I'm looking at you!
If I wasn't so grounded at "Baumont Court" I would love to live in Hercule Poirot's flat in Whitehaven Mansions, which is in reality Florin Court, Islington South London, the original block consists of rather small apartments, so they filmed lots of exterior shots of the building and then created a "set" that was more spacious. the TV series also used lots of famous Art Deco homes in the UK throughout the original 1980s-90s shows, the newer ones are done rather on the cheap,No locations shots, and No Miss Lemon or Colonel Hastings!!!!!!
