Hey I just came across these Levis. A cross between the 1937 model and the 561 regular Levis model from the 90´s. Are they indeed repros of a 30´s model or a new vintage look alike or just fakes?

I didn't think there were any LVC repros with a red tab AND exposed rivets.. also all "501s" I've ever seen have the belt loops (the ones on the sides) going over the entire yolk area of the jeans. Another thing is that the arcuates are double stitched, which came into effect later than the '30s or '40s. I'd guess fakes..What about them make them like 561s?

Well the buckleback below the belt loops , red tab and generally the cut makes them similar to 561´s I bought in the late 90´s. The 561 line later looked different.

I did notice that they had the cinch in the right place for a change (if they are fakes).. and I think I mistated the dates of the double arcuates, those came into play around '47 if I'm not mistaken. But still that's in conflict with the exposed rivets which ended around '35-'36 I assume.. cause the '37 501s deinately have covered back pocket rivets.
