Hello Ladies,
Does anyone use vintage sewing machines to do their sewing? I ask because I love the old Singer machines and collect them. The machine I use the most is a 40's Singer 201 Dressmaker. It is gear driven and sews a beautiful stitch.
If any of you have any questions about the old Singer machines I will do my best to answer them, as I work on the old machines too.

LOL, quite a few of us do. I have a 66 singer treadle as my main, a 99 handcrank that was converted to an electric in the 20's and reconverted to a handcrank, a 201, and a number of other machines as well. (I too work on them.)

But I do believe this thread is elsewhere too.
