Anyone know where to find a decent cotton porkpie?

OK, I remember seeing these at K-Mart every summer as a kid and they were universally known as "fishing hats" in my neck of the woods but I am having the damndest time finding one. Basically, it's a cheap cotton porkpie but they were different than what is being passed off as a "bucket" hat these days.

Here's a reference, at around 1:45-2:00 into this video, trumpet player Harry "Sweets" Edison is wearing one. I have also seen other classic jazz musicians wear something similar. I am more less looking for an aternative to a straw for summer but I can't seem to find these anywhere online. Can anyone help?

Try a golf shop. It is pretty much a seasonal thing here where snow is a common item in the late fall.

golf shops, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, LL Bean, and anywhere that might sell hunting or fishing stuff. Like David says, though, it's not the best time of year to track one down. Try searches for "fishing hat" and "canvas hat" mostly.

Thanks, Hat Head. Yes, I saw those and that's pretty much what I was thinking of. I like the gray but it is currently sold out.

I got mine at Wal-Mart. Looked like the tan one Hat Head posted. It was around 8 bucks.
