Anyone in the US order two Aero jackets at once (straight from Aero)?

I'm curious how the customs duties for two jackets in one package compares to total customs duties for two jackets in two separate packages.

It'll probably $800 per package. There's normally a tax free threshold for imports as it's not cost effective to collect duties on cheaper goods.

If you're asking which way round you'll pay less import tax...
If you go over the $800, do you pay tax only on the amount it is over by, or the whole lot? If the latter, I'd say it would make little difference. If the former, obviously two separate shippings makes sense. Here in the UK, they also add in the shipping cost to the total,so we pay import tax on that, then plus VAT on that total, plus an inevitable extra £10 or so "handling fee" (Frustratingly, given the very low threshhold for import tax here in the UK, this is often more than the tax I have to pay!).
