I do. It is one of my favorite hats, and one of my best. The felt is awesome, way up there in my collection. I even thought of including it in the "my 10 best hats" thread. If I would have seen the one you bought for sale, I would have snatched it up. Thin, yet luxurious, with an excellent hand.

Your positive comments just make me that much more excited to get my hands on the hat when it comes in. I'm surprised to see he was open as early as 1935. To be open for 35+ years and have 2 stores, I have no doubt his work must have been stellar.

Someone else may have a basis for comparison but from hats I have seen here and others in person, the two hats shown here don't look like one of the branded Beaver Brand, Biltmore, or Hatco produced hats. I know the labeling suggests made in house but the ones we do know to be made for the brand often had slogans on hat suggesting made in house. Nice finds for both of you

Hat came in today. Unfortunately it is not a 7 but feels more like 6 1/2. Felt is a little bit rougher than my 50s royal stetson but overall, like mentioned, is a very well made hat.
