In aroma I mean. I got a Bootlegger off Aero's sale page in Oil Pull and every time I put that sucker on I get this aroma that smells just like a smashed stink bug. I know FQHH smells but I LOVE that aroma.... I'd pay for a cologne just like it. This stuff? SheeeYa!!!!!

Eep. Maybe try one of those lemon-scented leather polishes? Is it second hand? Previous owner might have been into weird cigarettes or horses...

Yes and No! I have the spray that gets rid of Cigarette smoke... not stink bug. This jacket is BRAND NEW. Mebbe with more usage, outside come Spring and can rid it of this olfactory abusage, but not so far.

Might just be your jacket, Worf. I have an oil pull grizzly and a mid weight horsehide both by Aero, and they smell the same.

Had a few Oilpull steer and Oilpull horse Aeros and never had a smelly one :(

Maybe it's gone rancid or been stored damp or something ..... In any case either return it or stick it in the washing machine :)

Well, I wouldn't go as far as to say it stinks, but the smell of my new Teamster is definitely not as pleasant as the smell of my LHB in FQHH. It has a certain scent of cheap goat to it. I hope it will cede over the time, because I definitely like the jacket.

Can't say I notice any smell with my oil-pull jacket and I definitely wouldn't treat it if it did, conditioner would ruin it imo!

Sorry, forgive my original post. It's NOT oil pull but a Jerky Horshide jacket that smells. My bad but same problem!

Dave, you might try spraying with Fabreze and leaving it outside in the sun off and on for a few days. Last resort would be to have it dry cleaned by a company that specializes in leather garments. I smelled all eight of my leather jackets over the weekend and found they all smell more or less the same.
