This was one of my grandfather's hats from the 1960s-early 1970s. I think it is made out of braided wool- and it is in a kind of tweed pattern. The colors are red, cream, and dark green.
The tag inside says that it was made in England especially for Langrock, Princeton.
The size tag says 7 1/8 as well as 58.
It is in excellent condition having been in storage for the past 35 years at least, if not more.
Langrock was a store in Princeton, which according to various internet sources was considered one of the best, if not the best, campus stores- however it is no longer in business. [/FONT]
