Antonio Baldan?

Anyone here familiar with Antonio Baldan suits? I did a search here. Nuttin. Google? A few mentions. In Japanese. I think.

I ask because today at my favorite secondhand treasure trove I bought a suit carrying the Antonio Baldan label. Seems like quality stuff, at least to this not-particularly-well-informed observer. It's in very, very good condition. Good as new, as far as I can tell. And it almost fits. Just a touch snug in the waist and long in the leg and sleeve. Nothing my favorite alterations lady can't fix fairly inexpensively. The jacket fits well around the waist and across the shoulders and the body is the right length.

I'm thinkin' I really scored this time, seeing how I was out the door for less than 25 bucks, including our usurious sales tax. Can anyone offer confirmation of that?

If you're happy with it, you scored no matter who the maker is. :)

I appreciate the sentiment, Josephine, and concur with its essential wisdom.

Still, my avaricious heart soars whenever I acquire something for a very small fraction of its regular retail value. Time and time again I have visited this little thrift shop and come out with high-end (and even vintage) clothing and almost as much money as I walked in with. It cheers me every time.
