This hat is fine. Naptha the stain. Change the ribbon. You have a nice hat for under $40 bucks.

that stain looks pretty serious Dave, you should be able to get this one cheap. Of course, you might not be able to get the stain out.

Anything in the Larder?

The stain is pretty intimidating and does make one stand-offish eh. One possibility would be to grab it and then take it to George "The Hatter" on Avenue road in Toronto. He might be able to clean it and give it a reblock. He cleaned and reblocked my Stetson for only 20 Canuckistan.

Art: You don't have any offerings in the larder that might fit this fine lads cranium?

I think the stain will come out. If not you could dye it another color. I'm sure there are some members here who could teach you how to do it. Just bid enough this time to WIN this time.

Art - Good advice Art...I'll probably take the chance, and either naptha or dye it, as per SHARPTOYES suggestion (if I like it enough).

Just make sure it is indeed that size. Some folks make mistakes when determining the actual hat size. But, if that size is correct, jump on it. It might cost you some more to get the stain out, but that felt looks like what I am always looking for. If it is that particular felt, I would gladly pay 150 bucks, as long as there were no moth damage, or tears in the hat. Fedora

eBAy hAT SIZing

When bidding on any hat on EBAY be sure to ask the circumfrence of the inner sweatband, look under the sweatband for the "reorder tag" which has the size listed, or confirm their method of sizing the hat.

MANY of the sellers DON't KNOW what the size is. ASK!!!
