i am new here.
i have some questions about sunglasses AN6531 type 2.
first of all i have to say that i am really overwhelmed by their shape.
really great glasses.
but there seem some changes, espacially after war period.
on later issues, the main bar between the glasses seem to loose its curve and appeared to be more straight. Are there other changes? shape of the glassse or else.
i have seen some issues, there were really light-weighted, and seem not very robust - inspite of being a/o. ? The frame wasn't massive.
Are they all produced in that way?
Which sizes were produced?
which are the typical colours of the AN6531 glasses and frames.
are golden frames although for army issue, or were they for commercial market.
are later post war issues named AN6531, too? or have they another milspec-naming?
what's the prize for good conditioned army issued AN6531?
and for the post war, commercial products?
Which were the favourised brands?
And my last question: Are they already UV-protected? Are there replacment glasses on the market?
