Hello all -
A newbie to this site. Real class!
I have my uncle's USN issue G-1 jacket. It is marked as a size 40 and appears to have been tailored in some. I would like to have it tailored to fit me if at all possible. I wear a 44. Any suggestions of a high quality reputable leather tailor?
I also have my Dad's USCG issue peacoat. He retired from the Navy and then re-upped in the Coast Guard to get a home station. Same problem. He was much more fit then than I will ever be, and my arms are longer. Still if it is possible to have it fitted I'd love it. I wore this all through college but was considerably leaner then.
All help or ideas greatly appreciated.
