Albert Richard Vintage HH Halfbelt STUNNING!

I have been collecting jackets for around 20 years and I try not get too upset when something doesn’t fit. This jacket legitimately breaks my heart. Original or repro aside, this is just a stunning Halfbelt, in a truly remarkable, luxurious HH. I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Some things to note. The liner is time capsule new and thick. There is nary a loose thread and the cuff ends are pristine. It is absolutely mint. No odors of any kind, no loose seams or defects that I can find. All hardware original and functions perfectly.

I’m calling this a size 40”. The interior quilt does take up room. The sleeves are narrow and high cut at the armhole.

If I were able to wear it, it would never be for sale. Legitimately the nicest vintage piece I’ve ever touched and way cooler than any repro could ever possibly hope to be.

The collar construction is indeed unique!

Ooooj, that’s not the Monarch technique. This is Sears patent I think. I have a 70s rockabilly jacket (think East West), the label says patented collar design and it’s like that

I did too initially. You’ll see that the jacket is jam packed with well thought out design touches. Action fit and smart build. I’m so excited for you to have this. It absolutely needs to be worn. I will say flat out that this is the coolest jacket I’ve ever had, even if only for less than 24 hrs. He who can wear it is worthy of this Excalibur.
