Akubra Rink

Does anyone here have the Akubra Rink, I have been looking for a cheap summer hat, I liked the Rink, But I was surprised to find that the Hat is made from a Polypropylene which is plastic I think. So I was going to pass on it but recently found out that my Wife had ordered me one as a surprise. So what can I expect, If you have one or seen one I would like to know what you think of it, good or bad.

The hat will be very hot because of what is made of. It looks like straw with a Laquor finish. I would send it back or cancel the order and for the same money money buy a Cuenca Panama hat. A straw will allow air to go thru it to keep your head cool

SHARPETOYS I was thinking the same thing, It looks like there would be no air flow, It must be hot in the sun. It has already been shipped and should be here soon so I'll see if it is worth keeping for around the yard. If anything it must be durable. My birthday is in June and I think I'll treat myself to a good straw hat.
