How does one properly pronounce the brand name Akubra?

The Welles Shadow radio shows end up being my favorites. I have several hundred.

The Maxwell Grant pulp stories are great reads. The Shadow is not Lamont Cranston....Cranston is just one of the personalities he assumes.

Ah-Koo-Brah; Australian for Hat.

Not to be pickie or anything but if you are going to say Akubra, then you need to almost drop the 'a' and have the 'koo' sound more through the nose and the 'bra' is rather short, almost like a little breath. Its our English so we need to preserve it.....
