thought I'd snuggle in here for a while and get away from all the political stuff.

it is so refreshing to talk about the things that take us to a better place and time.


the weather has turned cool and its time to sort through my fall and winter clothing.

The leaves are turning nicely here. It's gonna be a very pretty Autumn. Looks like the kids will have pretty weather, to for Halloween.

walking the dog in the morning and watching the sun come up hearing the leaves go crunch crunch crunch! I need a new tweed jacket to go grousing in. a buddy called today and said their are a lot of woodcock in the forest.

I wish I could say the same here. Two days of trying and I saw nothing. But I won't be daunted, coming home empty handed didn't change the fact it was a couple of nice walks in the woods. Can't wait for the next one!

Phoenix. Today it’s 90 and partly cloudy. Still t-shirt weather even early mornings when I take the dog out. Looks like low 90s through the weekend, and then it’s supposed to drop into the low 80s/ high 70s. I can’t wait to break out the long sleeve shirts and felt hats. The winter grass is finally coming in and it’s starting to look green again.

It was in the 70s here today--beautiful for walking in downtown Denver.

I'm happy to get away from politics, too. Thank goodness our office manager put the kibosh on political rants.
