Aero sizing.

Question about Aero's sizing on their Highwayman and Halfbelts. (Specifically the 1930's Halfbelt).

I take a size 44 R suit coat.
Do they generally recommend going down a size from your "regular" suit/sports coat jacket size? (Going with a tartan lining rather than the alpaca.)

Very true! However, please bear in mind that the 1930 Halfbelt is a very trim fitting jacket. No way as generously cut as a Highwayman or 1950s Bomber Jacket. It's more comparable in fit to a Cafe Racer although probably not quite as trim fitting.
Aero will sure help you out on that issue but you really have to tell them how tight or loose fitting you want the jacket to be.
