Aero Sheene Brown CXL FQHH Size 42

For sale is a beautiful Aero Sheene in Brown CXL FQHH, with contrast stitching, Light tartan lining, one inside pocket & zippered sleeves
Got this one only a couple of weeks back, bought from the original owner of the jacket. Here is the link

I am selling it only because the sleeves are a bit too long for me, otherwise it is an awesome jacket, in almost mint condition. Measurements in inches are -

I got it for slightly less than $700, offering $650 shipped to buyers in US & Canada(I am located in Canada, but will be travelling to Seattle as soon as the land border opens, in case someone in US wants to avoid customs)

Hey there. I am 5.9", around 80kgs or 175 lbs.
41 inch chest, 18 inch shoulders
I usually wear a size 38 or 40 Aero CR, this one is size 42, so a bit loose for me, especially at the sleeves.

I think I may have a little background info on this specific jacket. I am 95% sure that I briefly owned this jacket late last year - I custom ordered it, and the sleeves were an inch shorter than what I specified. It broke my heart because it was perfect in every other way, but I had to send it back to Aero and have a new one made. I then saw it pop up on the "Special Offers" stock jacket page on Aero's website a few months later. I always wondered where it ended up - it's a small world.

I'd recommend that the seller re-measure the chest and bottom opening with it laid out really flat. If this is my original jacket (and I think it is) the chest should be 23.5 - 24" across and the waist will be 21 inches across. It is a size 42 cafe racer pattern with the waist let out 1/2" per side to make it less tapered. The sleeves really are about 26", maybe 26.25", and the shoulders really are 19".

I have a 42" chest and a 37" waist (actual body measurements) and it was a nice trim fit. I could zip it up, no problem.

It has board racer J-100 style sleeve zippers and back yoke, 2 angled chest pockets, there should be one vertical inside pocket, and a highwayman collar. It also has Nickel Waldes zips on the chest pockets, and light tan contrast stitching. The lining is the thicker Locharron Strome fabric in MacNaughton weathered pattern (my family tartan).

In short, it is a cafe racer that was meant to be as much like a J-100 as possible (with collar) for a person with broad shoulders who finds the actual board racer / J-100 cut too restricting in the shoulders. Good luck with the sale, and I hope this jacket finds a good home.

I will measure the chest again and update the measurements(I simply updated the measurements which the original seller had posted) but the P2P did strike me as being a bit on the shorter side for a size 42. Thanks for pointing it out

I am actually in two minds about letting the jacket go, since it carries most of the aspects I would be looking for in a custom Aero(board racer base, brown CXL, highwayman collar), and fits quite well with some layering. Without layering, the sleeves feel bit longer, but not too much. So this one may as well remain with me

Yes, I should have been more clear - I had it for a few days while I decided whether or not to keep it, but I returned it to Aero unworn. I only tried it on around the house for fit, so I imagine the previous seller really did purchase it "new" from Aero.

Given @jimmer_5 inputs today, I measured the P2P, and it is actually 24" laying flat, which makes sense given the 42 size. Here is a pic with a measuring tape

Thanks @sweetfights, wish it was one size smaller. I have come to realize that my Aero CR size is 40 for a comfortable and 38 for a snug fit, and this one is way too big. Hope it finds a permanent home soon
