"1950's Flight Jacket"
This Jacket evolved in the 1950's as USA looked back for inspiration to the exploits of Air Crews in their A2 Jackets.
The A2 pocket became replaced with the corded border four pocket design still typically referred to as a "Bomber" Jacket or "Fly Boys" jacket. Ours uses the same Heavy Horsehide widely used during the period and the same typical blanket or cotton linings that were popular at the time.
These are cut from our typical 1950's pattern block, same as we use for all our jackets of that era, the cut "loosely" resembles the style of the Type A2, but with that wee bit more room retaining that typical authentic "fliers" look, yet with more comfort and movement than the WW2 Type A-2.
With other jackets on PHOTOBUCKET--It'll have the description of the AERO LEATHER.
