I searched, but could not find example of this one here.

I just got all my HH samples today, and I at least have it narrowed to three.
Lining, no clue yet. But I want to see if anyone has this here?
If so, pix? I'm trying to see if Aero can do a removable fur collar, or just go without.
The non-fur pix on Aero's site are not the same design.

Yes Aero can do a removable fur collar, but it'll cost extra.

I don't think you see as many of the '50s half belts on the forum compared to the '30s version. I believe these are the first good pictures of one I've seen and after seeing the pics above I think I like the '50s cut better. Anyone else?

Brown FQHH is the current front rummer. Cherry and Cordovan a bit back.
Only heavy FQHH are options now after getting the samples.
Next issue is lining.

I like Aether's tweed lining; haven't seen that before. Don't remember it being in my bag of samples from years ago. Looks like it would hold up very well.

I think it's Donegal tweed on Aether's (very nice) jacket. It looks absolutely fabulous, especially when combined with brown FQHH. Tweed might also be a tad warmer than a tartan lining. I would strongly suggest to go with olive gabardine or wine satin for the sleeves as tweed might be too bulky and coarse for a sleeve lining. I once tried on an Aero that had a full moleskin lining and it took almost 5 minutes until the jacket was sitting properly. I literally struggled my way through the sleeves! Now, you don't want that!

Thanks Jan. You're completely right, the Tweed wouldn't be a good choice in the arms. It's too thick and coarse to be used anywhere but on the body-lining.

Yes, thanks Jan for that tip. I'm really glad I took the time to pick the expert brains here before ordering!
I asked about a detachable collar and Amanda said yes, £40 extra for it. That might be the way to go.
Getting closer to the final design. Lots of decisions!!! Thanks for the help guys.
