Hello, I was recently asked about this type of product and am wondering if anyone here on the FL has ever tried it on a leather unit patch, and if so what were your results ??????
I am wanting to try it but not sure if it's a good product and if it works well as I would want to get a fairly close "pattern" overall on the patch ,not sure if it would be a consistant thing ........................

Would appreciate your replies , suggestions etc , thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

Crackle paint is used to make new stuff look like the paint is decades old and is flaking off. Just curious, why would you want to use it on a patch? A WW2 jacket during WW2 wouldn't look old.

The person wants the patches to look old , that's all I know , I agree if they put it on a "new" jacket it 'll look odd , but the "Customer is always right" as they say ................................................

O.K. good to know and thanks for the "tip " amigo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will be trying out both, the crackle stuff I got is a all in one bottle and is brush on and I'll have to experiment to see what kind of results I get , was the type you tried one step or a combo of two brush on types as I've seen this too ........................
