Howdy folks, just wondered about the proper acceptable length on an A-2 jacket. My otherwise wonderful Aero CBI field modified A-2 is breaking in nicely but seem to have very short knits and I am sure that my old Aero A-2 had much longer knits. The actual measurement is only some 6.4 cm and I am sure they are much shorter than A-2 knits should be. Any hints and info on the proper length ? Do Aero use shorter knits on some of their A-2 s ? I am attaching a picture as well :

You can compare a whole bunch of repro A-2 jackets here to see what the cuff length is:

(Essentially, they run from 2 inches to 3.5 inches. 2.5 to 3 inches seem the most typical.)

Thanks, great link, Aero does run shorter than the rest. Anyway I like the longer waist knits, seems to fit an A-2 jacket better than the shorter ones.
Pitty there ain´t a Buzz Rickson A-2 there, they seem to have 4 inch knits just like the B-10 and B-15 jackets.
