A Sweaty Montecristi

I purchased an unblocked Montecristi a while back and wore it during the summer (I know, I know). It now has some serious brown sweat stains on the straw where it was in contact with my forehead. Any hope getting it out?

Should I try to do so before sending it to get blocked at a local shop?

I would send it to Art Fawcett and have him both clean and block it for you. His prices are reasonable and you will get it done right

I'll try to post pics once it is blocked and such. Its a nice weave.

Send it to a Master Hatter. You can hand wash it and the sweat stains will come out but you will then need to reblock it.
