A Southern tribute to Douglas!

At our FL get together tonight in Memphis, Douglas was on our minds as we talked hats.
Like how he can wear anything and make it look good .
So in honor of our hat wearing friend ....we give him a southern tribute!

Wow, guys. As I look at that group photo, I feel (1) underdressed, and (2) YOUNG (not necessarilly in that order). Wish I could have been there, to meet you distinguished gentlemen, in person. Thanks Mr D, we tried our best 'Douglas' pose!

As for living close. Duck came in from the western part of Arkansas [about 295 miles] of couse he and his wife made the trip to visit family that was nearby also.
Alan is from Birmingham Alabama, around 220 miles from Memphis, also visitied family that was close.
John is from Maryville, the longest distance 345 miles, but he was working in Muscle Shoals Alabama so that put him around 200 miles closer.
I want to thank all that took the time to travel to Memphis, I am only about 1 hour from there.
The next time we will plan to stay the night and have both Friday night and into Saturday night for our event. Maybe the ones that cant make Friday will be able on Saturday.

The best I can do is
Stetson, Stetson, Akubra, Bukaroo Hatters hat, Art Fawcett hat and I am not sure of Todds brand.
Maybe the guys can tell what they had on.
so much was going on I cant remember much of anything.

LHatley - Stetson Open Road
RBH - Akubra Ferderation (Young Indy Bash)
Mike Moore - One of his creations, I think from his grandfather's hat. (not sure about this)
AlanC - His Art Fawcett Optimo Felt ( Absolutely beautiful)
Todd - I did not hear what Todd was wearing
