A little advice needed about a dress...

I am still hunting for a good 40's dress for the LA air raids, but if worse comes to worse I may have to wear something I already have. is it totally weird if I wear this dress since its a little more 50s? What do you think?
Do you think I could pull it off if i wear some wedges and roll my hair?

I think you could pull it off. They had shirt dresses in the forties, they just used less fabric.

I would definitely do a 40s hairstyle and wear 40s accessories. Have fun!

Not true! The fashion police of us, stand around looking at girls in very summer dresses and just wonder if they are frozen to death yet. But thats it.


Since there are also folks in street clothes at the event, its really low key in terms of there being any sort of standards that -everyone- meets.

Its all about having fun ...and not freezing to death too

goodness! Moving to seattle my neutral temperature moved from about 65 degrees to around 30 degrees....but I can't imagine how cold it must be out there
