Hello all, (hit refresh if you do not see images)
Though these are by no means true period pieces, their influence is rooted in my family's love of travel. They are a synthesis of old and new styles- Full grain leather, accented with split top grain, linen thread, and a mix of brass and stainless hardware....with the occasional poly zipper thrown in for expediency.
The first is my daily companion- roughly 14" x 10" x 3". I use it to tote daily gear, a classic Case folder, camera, and snacks for my son and I.
This is the larger cousin that I use for traveling. It's maxed out to airline carry on size. I've added some exterior lash points to what was an ordinary shoulder bag pattern to accommodate an overcoat, sweater, or a bumbershoot.
I'll add an image or two of them in action when I can.
Cheers,
Kevin
