Before Ebay I thought I would try to keep it in the family.
I have three Open Road style hats, all Bee Brand Hats, all 6 7/8. I've had them for at least five years and never knew what to do with them, they came in a tall hat box I had to buy but were too small for me. Then I saw how these were being transformed into Stratoliners and thought someone would be interested. They all have leather sweat bands and silk liners. The best of the three is a "Year Rounder" model in light grey.
The other two are both "The Plainsman" models, one a light tan
and one a medium brown.
The felt on the crown on the medium brown is very soft but I guess if can be stiffened by someone who knows how.
None of the hats have any holes or tears.
Next is a stingy brim (1 5/8 wide) fedora by Fairmount, size 7. It's a dark green, kind of OD. Also too small for me.
These shoes I bought on Ebay but are just a little too big, The uppers are in great shape but they all probably need resoling.
Black Florsheim Wing Tips, 8 3E
Brown Florsheim Wing Tips, 83E
Black Florsheim Oxfords, 7 1/2 D (these are too small for me)
And lastly a womens hat box, diameter 8.5 inches with a black rope handle. It's in good shape, no holes or dents. The top has a small tear on the side that can be easily fixed. I bought this on Ebay without reading the size carefully.
If you are interested in any of these items you can pm me and I can send more measurements and photos. As for price make me an offer. I would rather one of you enjoy these items before I put them on Ebay.
Thanks!
P.S. I'll let this go for about a week before they go to Ebay.
