Something about the way Lawrence Ferlinghetti has rolled the brim of this hat
appeals to me.

Of course, the photo was probably taken in San Francisco, so the wind off the bay may have simply styled the fedora for him.

Any Loungers wear a fedora like this?

I live where we get the south end of that Alberta wind, and I've got a couple of older fedoras that end up like that.

It's one of the reasons I like western wear-to-fedora conversions. The felt is heavy enough that it doesn't blow up in the wind.

Of course you have surgical impants in your skull to anchor the hat when you go outside, but who said wearing a hat would be simple?lol

To answer the original question ... About the only time I wear a fedora like that intentionally is when I'm out in public and trying to get my wife's goat, or to make a point in the office. It's sort of the Ed Norton look.;)
