I'm using up the last of my lambskin and am almost finished with another A-1 test jacket size 46- waiting for cuffs- decided to put this up before the arms are done in case someone wanted a particular arm length.

Natural brown lambskin, wool knits, real horn buttons (Italian!:) ), cotton liner. Two piece back, three piece arms. USN style button closure pockets, double topstiched and placed high on the jacket. With or without a hanger, your choice.

Pit to pit front 24.5
Pit to pit back 25
shoulders 20
front 24
Arms anywhere from 26" on down

Looks the same as my last A-1 (scroll all the way to the bottom of the page), pictures here:

Hey Buddy - I normally take a 46 or 48R, depending on who makes the garment - the chest measurement sounds close on this one - what do you think? I believe these were supposed to fit trim...I got an off the rack "G-8" in 46R from flightjackets.com and it fits me fine, but I also have Cooper A-2 in 46R that is very tight.

If I know my brands, this will fit more like the FJ (=US Authentic) than the Cooper. There's about 4" room over the tag size.

Coopers often were tagged with the garment dimensions, not the size of the wearer. 46 meant it would fit a 42" chest best and a 44" snugly.

My US-A's give 4-5" room over tag size. They're also cut a little longer than usual, especially the sleeves.
