1930s Knox fedora
Thos hat is absolutely breathtaking.
The felt is grey with a slight blue hue. Soft to the touch, this hat shows the type of quality that was being produced in these years
The sweatband is pliable, soft, and is unreeded. There are the initials "AJF" punched into the sweatband, which is common on vintage hats *DOES NOT AFFECT WEARABILITY*
On the rear of the sweatband, there is a label that reads "SWEAT Patent Applied For"
Only issue is some surface moth bites to the brim, and what appears to be a small pencil mark to the top of the crown. Both of these should be remedied with a proper cleaning/sanding, but they do not distract from the hat in any way.
The liner shows the KNOX logo in a beautiful mixture of red & gold
Tagged 7 3/8
Brim: 2 1/4"
Open crown: 5 5/8"
LxW in photos
Comes with box shown in photos
$300 shipped o.b.o
