1930s Crofut & Knapp Fedora
"Gridiron" model. The felt is a blue/teal heather mix with a long hair/ unpounced finish
This hat comes from the recent deadstock Eakle find. These hats were found in a barrel in the back of the long closed store (1980s is when it closed). This is the closest you can get to owning a brand new hat from the 1930s
The brim has an overwelt
Some sweatband stitches are popped from it being shoved in a barrel all those years, but there is zero damage to the felt. The coloring is absolutely stunning.
Fits me slightly loose as a 7 1/8 wearer
Brim: 2 1/4"
Open crown: 5 1/2"
