1920s Schoble "Skimp"
This hat is from the recent deadstock lot from the Geo. I Eakle store location.
This hat is in amazing shape. The felt is a grey with a slight hue of blue to it. The backbow ribbon sets this eye-pleaser apart from the rest.
The felt is extremely lightweight, and lives up to the "summer felt" name.
This is a one of a kind, custom ordered by Eakle, and made by Schoble.
There is a wrinkle in the hat band, and very minor mothing, only noticable if heavily looking (some on top of hat crown, one right next to the hat ribbon).
The sweatband is a beautiful light tan color, and if soft and malleable. Lots of life left!
