Schott biker jackets tend to have short arms. If you have longer arms, beware. It probably won't fit. However, if you steal it at a good price, who cares? Wear gloves that go up the forearms like most bikers and you'll be good to go

If you don't have a motorcycle, don't "wish." Know. Get one, even if you only have time to ride one day a year. It's worth it

Still really cheap. Has to increase on that. Someone is hoping for a steal, I guess. Last minute flurry of bids, perhaps.........:eeek:;)

I just got a Legendary horsehide CHP jacket in size 48 (a STEAL at $399 on their website) , and the arms were quite good in length, and I'm 6'1. I'll probably take a poke at this if it stays right.

Dr. V, it measures like most 44's I have owned - 23" across the chest is a nice close fitting 44. I would snatch that up if I were you.

$210 is a great price for that jacket, I have had a couple Schott's and I know I wear a 44, otherwise I would've been all over that. Someone got a great deal, that's a near $800 jacket.

Somebody scored. Wow. Effing killer deal. Part of the reason was probably the size. A little on the big size.

I agree. Once a year seems a little too sparse, but I'd say if you have a place to keep it inside (and the moolah), other things being equal you should have a bike. I take my car to work (20+ mi) but all local errands are on the scoot. It sure give one a great reason to dig leather jackets anyway (and I love putting on a crash helmet).

Also, If you're looking for a something of that type and it's your size, that jacket would probably be a good bargain. That said, more often than not, I've been disappointed with Ebay clothing purchases and am now more inclined to buy fresh from the dealer.

P.S. Parenthetically, right now I'm selling something that didn't work out, a 42 Vanson Enfield. You can't say the ad doesn't tell the whole story. I might be the only one who thinks this; but I'd say it's a nice jacket and a good dealburger at 185. (I hope I'm not doing anything unethical mentioning it here. My attitude: It's out there in the ether/Que sera, sera.)

P.P.S. It's fun to look at the bidding. Three people tried to "snipe" it in the last ten seconds and the winning bid was two seconds before it closed.
