Original vintage 1940's made-to-measure mens shoes (semi-brogues) made by "G.Gurdschik - Munich".
G.Gurdschik originally had his store in Karlsband, Czechoslovakia, and relocated after World War 2 to Munich.
The Germans were "resettled" from Karlsbad in 1946, so the shoes date from ca. 1946 to the very early 50's.
These are high quality, handcrafted, stitched full leather shoes made from beautiful russet-brown leather.
The sole is still wearable - if desired I will have my cobbler attach a new sole (ca. 40 USD, leather or rubber).
Please note and compare the measurements - it would fit best US 9.5-10 or UK 9-9.5. I wear 10.5 and slip into the shoes, but they are too tight for me.
Inside 11.4 inches - 29 cm
Outside sole 12 inches - 30.5 cm
Widest part of sole 3.74 inches - 9.5 cm (so not for very wide feet)
The shoes would look smashing with a street suit (grey, brown, blue or green), sports or leisure outfit.
Cheers!
