Yes they can. It's much more expensive than getting it done at the time it's made, but they certainly can do it for it you.
Cool, i don't know why i didn't want it when i was ordering the jacket, but now i think i would love that. Yeah, it should be more expensive, that's clear.

I love the fully padded back. It looks great, and is super functional n the bike.
I like everything padded, to be perfectly honest. where it's possible of course. Like padded lining, elbows, shoulders and backs. I am looking forward to getting Scott's reply.

Has anyone checked this beauty out? The Langlitz guys posted it a few hours ago on Facebook. Killer.

Inspirational Tommer! Great thread, really enjoying reading it & looking at the photos.

I've mainly been a collector (& wearer) of vintage nylon USAF jackets and WW2 repro leathers. I do ride and have recently got into Moto vintage. I have purchased an early Brooks CR in a Colour not a million miles away from that lovely re-dye that you undertook (miles better than the dull original shade).

Currently considering having a copy of the Brooks made in black & having a bit of a dilemma whether to go for the mandarin collar or more of a dress one like yours...having read this thread I'm coming down on the dress side at present....lots of modern CRs out there in black with a mandarin.

Hey Bunyip:

Got any recent shots of that jacket? Just wondering how that leather is breaking in. Gorgeous color and style you chose.
I went with a butterscotch Skookum Cascade from their Japanese site. I wanted a brown one, but none of the Browns really stood out to me. I love the jacket. The guys at Langlitz are awesome to deal with.

Was in the Langlitz shop yesterday, getting some minor mods on my flight jacket. Saw one of the seamstress finishing up the white jacket shown above. Very impressive in person!
Waited about an hour while they worked on mine, the endless stream of leather jacket affectionatos and stories made for a nice experience.
No problem changing out the collar or other mods, great customer service!

That white coat looks very impressive, however I could not wear it. I just can't keep things clean enough. I had a motorcycle coat (think rocket style, of sorts) that was 50% white, then 25% black & 25% red. The white, while great for visibility showed dirt in the first couple of months of owing it. But for a limited use coat it's pretty unique...

It's hard to pull off that look if you're not Elvis!

Apologies for the cheesy mean-mugging for the camera. Seriously, it's embarrassing. Anyway...just looking at some old pics and here's the Cascade from this thread last season on the tv show Blindspot. Wardrobe tried to give me a crappy mall jacket and I was like no way, I've got something better...

Hey! I;ve always been a brown jacket guy. Yours is the standard they all have to meet now. I had LL make me a Dark brown Goat Padded Pocket Columbia with a Mandarin Collar. But it don't have the effect yours has. Goat vs Cow, Goat loses in the distressed race. I never wanted a cascade till seeing yours, still on my list of wants for sure.

Good to hear from ya. That coat should get it's own SAG card! You could rent it out like Lassie...

Tommer - nice shots there! I agree the "mean mugging" is a funny look but you do pull it off well if I say so myself! :)

Let see a few more shots sometime - great story on this jacket!
