Here are 2 pair of super shoes for the upcoming fall season - they are relatively new manufacture (80's - early 90's), but are well made and have some great vintage detail:
1) Bostonian "Crown Windsor" Norwegian toe bluchers. These have a super "London Tan" color, and a pebble grain that looks extremely well with tweeds, cords and other country clothes. A thick, heavy sole - with normal wear to the sole and heel, but lots of wear left. The leather is very good and the insides have held up well - no splits, cracks, unraveled stitching, etc. - Sized as 8.5 E - sole dimensions = 11.5" heel to toe, 4.5" across ball. $40 shipped in USA - will include shoe trees for add'l $5. 2) Allen Edmonds "Park Avenue" cap toe oxfords. These are a little dressier and in a larger size - smooth medium brown with unadorned toe cap - Some heel wear - very recently & expertly half soled. Again, they are clean and in good shape with no damage or deterioration inside or out. These are 9.5D - Dimensions = 12.25" heel to toe, 4.25" across ball. $50 shipped in USA - will include shoe trees for add'l $5 - Overseas please inquire for shipping.
