Dear all,
I recently bought these handsome Bally spectators but have come to the conclusion that they are not really for me. I haven't worn them except to try on and the previous owner apparently only wore them once, which I have no reason to doubt.
They are the Bally "Kensington", a handsome mix of brown leather and natural linen, with leather half-lining, Blake-stitched Italian style leather sole and combination rubber/leather heel. They will be supplied boxed with a shoe horn and durable grey plastic shoe trees, as illustrated, vital for keeping them in good condition.
The exterior measurements are, tip of sole to tip of heel, 11.6", width across widest part of sole, 4.25", width across heel, 2.75"; they are a 43 E, translating I believe to a UK 8.5F and a US 9.5 EE???
If I put them on eBay (which will be on Thursday), it will be with a starting price of £29.99, plus shipping, and a slightly higher buy-it-now. If a fellow Lounger would like to take them off my hands now, however, I would be pleased to offer them for £29.99 including UK shipping/surface mail shipping anywhere in the world (for Airmail shipping, add a further £5.)
