Tiim McCarver just mentioned that today was Bob Shepard's 99th birthday. He was the stadium announcer at Yankee Stadium for 57 years. He was popularly known around the Stadium as "The Voice of God". He also mentioned that John Wooden, the great basketball coach at UCLA in the 60's and 70's also turned 99 this week. God bless them!
