EDIT: Gail at Schott refined the date of production to between 1984-1992.
This Perfecto 125 dates from between 1984-1992, based on the YKK main zipper, Ideal sleeve zippers, Schott logo lining, and lack of a barcode on the product tag.
The durable naked cowhide is soft and nicely broken in with really nice graining. Snap loops allow the wearer to choose his own belt.
The jacket is in nice condition considering it's 30+ years old. The leather has been fully cleaned and conditioned. It has some minor scuffs but remains supple with no cracks or flaking. It still has that nice naked cowhide scent with no musty storage smells.
All pocket bags are intact with no holes. All zippers and snaps work fine. Pin remnants on both lapels. I wouldn't call them overly noticeable. There is a small pencil eraser-size hole in the middle back of the lining. The pile zip-in liner is missing, but Schott still sells these if you're so inclined.
Tagged size 40, please see measurements below for best fit. All measurements taken with the jacket fully zipped and lying flat.
Shoulders: 18"
Chest: 21"
Sleeve: 25" (following sleeve curve)
Length from bottom of rear collar to bottom of kidney panel: 24"
Asking price is $175 and includes CONUS shipping.
