i'm coming to terms with how tiny my new apartment is and so i'm putting a table up for sale. i would love it if it went to a lounger! sorry - i can't ship this item - you'll have to come pick it up from me this week. here's an article about Acclaim from a website. and here's the text from my CL post:
For sale is a cool two-tier side-table from Lane's "Acclaim" series - the most popular furniture in America in 1963. It has great details, like large dovetailing on the surface and black-ferruled legs. one side of the lower tier is cut in a curve. the tabletop is in pretty good shape - there is one tiny chip near a corner, and there is some water-spotting as well. It is super-sturdy. I LOVE mid-century furniture, but my new apartment is pretty low on space so it needs to go! Hopefully it will a find a new home with you, a vintage-American-made-Scandinavian-design furniture lover!
$50
please PM me if you're interested! i live in north portland near the I-5 Alberta exit.
