1960,s leather jacket more info please

Hi as a long time lurker, I thought I would ask you guys/gals for more information on a Dun -o- Jak jacket my late father left, all I know is he stopped wearing it in 1962.

I don't know much about it, but it could very well be horsehide leather. Are you interested in selling it?

Horsehide, I think you may be right just found 60's Dun-O-Jak LEATHER POLICEMAN JKT and says horsehide made in USA http://www.grandberryjam.com/product/1610
I am thinking about selling it , but I need to asses its value first .
