These will hit ebay on Sunday night. I'll post a link to the auction once it's up.
Here's the auction text and the photos:
_________________________________________
I am not a collector of military clothing, so I’ll do my best to describe these pants and answer any questions.

This auction is for one pair of what I believe to be US Army pants.

The stamps on the drill cotton pockets, shown in the photos, provide most of the information about the pants.

These pants feature suspender buttons and hooks, deep and heavy pockets, a small inside buttoning pocket, rear back pockets with flaps, and a Waldes brass zipper. All buttons remain tightly sewn in place and the zipper functions smoothly.

A Few Measurements:

As shown in the photos, these are substantial pants.

Flat on the table, the waist measures between 19.5 and 20 inches, depending upon whether I'm measuring at the very top of the pants or across the center of the belt line. The pants taper to the top. There are two side tabs on the sides of the pants to allow the wearer to customize the size from size 35 to 39, as stamped inside.

The pants are extremely tall. I'm 6"1" and have to hold them up to my armpits for the cuff to fall properly. My 5'1" wife can hide behind them. The inseam (flat, from bottom of the leg to crotch seam) is approximately 32.5 inches, while the out-seam (flat, from bottom of leg to top of waist) is approximately 47.25 inches. There are approximately two inches of material to let out in the legs, just in case you happen to need them.

The zipper is about 10.5 inches long, the rise (flat, crotch seam to top of pants) in front is slightly over 18 inches. When rise measured from the rear (same method) is closer to 19 inches.

THESE PANTS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. The wool is free of any rips, cuts, stains, moth holes, etc. The only flaw that I can find is the spotting on the drill pockets, which is clearly show in the photos. I do not know the cause of the spotting or whether it can be removed.

Payment is by Paypal only and is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction or the pants will be relisted.

Shipping is $14 by UPS Ground within the lower 48.

Please contact me before bidding if you are outside of the Continental US.

This is a vintage item and there are NO RETURNS.

Please review the description and photos and email me with any questions.

Cool pants-

These are the pants I recommend people buy due to the style-
they're pure 1930s, even though they're much newer.
The colour is different from the WW2 wool trousers but they're pretty much the same, except for the side adjusters. Imagine these dyed black, or some other dark colour- brilliant pair of flat front slacks and the wool/nylon blend(sounds nasty but it's not- it IS very practical)serge will make them very hard wearing. High-ish waist, heavy cloth wide leg, full seat, nice rear pockets.

Cool.

Thanks BT, an endorsement from you on militaria is one that I trust. I'd love to keep the pants for myself, but they're just way too big for me. The length of the zipper alone is just amazing.
