For Sale, is this late 1950's suit, something of an oddity. It has the soft shoulder, boxy shape, narrow lapel and short centre vent of the ivy league sack style, but the jacket is darted, and has full cut double pleated trousers. I reckon the maker was taking tips from the brioni roman style influences, but keeping it traditional downstairs. The fabric is really beautiful, a lightweight italian import, but the garment is union made in the US.

The condition of the jacket is very good, the half lining in good shape, and the suit itself has been dry cleaned.

The trousers are in less good nick, with some small holes around the bottom of the crotch, and a brown mark on the leg. I have not attempted to clean the stain by hand, so woolite etc may prove wonders. still, the trousers are wearable, and fortunately the the black nubby material somewhat disguises the holes. the jacket would make a great odd jacket.

The jacket measures 17.5" in the shoulders, 42" in the chest, and is 30" in length. The left sleeve is an inch shorter than the right sleeve, which is 24" (obviously measured for a specific man). The trousers are 34" in the waist, with a 29" leg, and 3" to be let out and cuffed.

£25 or best offer, plus P&P, please offer through PM
