We all know the term Mad Men has been overused on ebay for suits, but I'll use it here because I think they fit that description well.
British suit by Burton:
Late 1950s or early 1960s Burton’s “Mad Men” suit. Dark blue with a really nice heavy fabric with a pattern of blue and gray squares. This is really in pristine condition and really show little or no signs of wear. Three button jacket no vent, narrow lapels in a Mad Men, Cary Grant from Northby Northwest, In the Mood for Love style. However, the trousers are very traditional British in style: double forward pleats, button fly, button waist adjusters and suspender buttons, cuffs.

Scot Squire :
1950s American suit by Scot Squire de Lux Silverbergs. Similar Mad Men, Cary Grant from Northby Northwest, In the Mood for Love style, but with slightly wider lapels than the Burton. Blue and black stripe pattern material, 1950s mid-weight fabric. Overall the suit is used and shows some signs of wear (re-sewn seems, yellowing of trouser pockets and lining on the inside, a few very light food stains that will likely come out with either spot or dry cleaning, etc.) but no major wear issues like holes, rips and tears.
Three button jacket with shallow rear vent. Trousers are pretty cool with slightly dropped belt loops and no waistband (almost a Hollywood waist), US-reverse pleats, zip fly, and no cuffs.
chest 22, shoulder 18.5, length 31, sleeve 26
Trousers: inseam 31, waist laid flat so double this: 19.5” (no waistband)
